Where are your products from?

The vast majority of our products are sourced directly from India where our Managing Director, Christo McKinnon-Wood travels several times a year to seek out new items.

I saw something I like on your website but it has now been sold, will you get another?

While many of our products are unique, some are repeatable or we may be able to find you something similar. Do get in touch with details of whatever you are looking for and we will do our best to help.

What is a Kadai?

A Kadai is a unique barbecue firebowl. Christo, our Managing Director, spent a year travelling round India on his Enfield motorbike and saw traditional Kadais used as cooking bowls. He started experimenting with one at home and came up with the idea of putting the fire inside the bowl and adding a grill. He registered the Trademark and, with his team at Wilstone, has built a fantastic range of bowls and accessories. If you would like to explore our full range and find out more about them please visit kadai.co.uk.

Do you have any shops outside Shropshire?

No, but we attend many shows including the Chelsea Flower Show, every year and our Kadais are available in many good garden centres and independent outdoor living shops all over the UK.

Why is my product slightly different from the image on your website?

All our products are handmade by artisans, often using recycled materials which means they are all unique to some extent. Where possible we explain in the product description if it is likely to vary from the one shown, but if you would like to check first please do get in touch.
